LAHORE: Imran Khan’s sister Dr Uzma Khan apologised to Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s daughter Maryam Nawaz on Sunday over the protocol’s misbehavior allegation.
Dr Uzma sent a written apology letter to Maryam asking to forgive her for the baseless allegation as she was misguided by Chaudhry Asim Gujjar.
On Friday, Dr Uzma had accused that her car was hit by a protocol vehicle of Maryam in Lahore’s Gulberg area.
The claim was immediately denied by the government sources who said that Maryam was in Islamabad at that time.
Later, it was revealed that the security personnel who stopped the car of Dr Uzma and allegedly misbehaved with her was part of a Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leader’s protocol team.
